N80 problem

Lately I've been getting texts yonks after people sent them.

My phone often tries and fails to send texts and has to keep trying to resend.

I try to ring people and often I get 'connection error' for all I have 6 bars.

People try to ring me and often they get diverted straight to voicemail.

Only just happened recently.

Recently I debranded my phone and upgraded the firmware to:

If I phone Orange and they want to replace my phone, have I invalidated the warranty? Should I just keep schtum?

I had the "diverted to voicemail" problem with orange firmware. I put it down to orange being w**k and the phone not working correctly with the network.

I've just tried to send myself a text saying HI and it's just sitting in the outbox. I've tried clicking SEND and it still doesn't happen.

I was just saying that it happens under the orange firmware as well. I don't think this phone works properly with the orange network.

I'm well glad to be rid of orange, vodafone has been so much better in the month I've been with them.

Helps, i have it even tho im running V4.0623.0.42 firmware

Also when i told O2 that they are crap because of not releasing the software i said if i get it update does it void warrenty?

They said no its just software, plus you could always change your product code back using the method i put up previously....

sending a phone back with different firmware should be ok,

i sent mine back to orange after id flashed it myself!

I do have the sms accelarator installed.

It's still doing it.

At the end of the day I flashed it using Nokia software not some dodgy stuff so they can't really argue.

I'll give it a few more days, may just be the network in my area.
