Watched this yesterday (perhaps) right before I jumped in my brothers GTi.

I'd bet my testicles that he lifted when he touched the kerbs and that's what pitched the spin. Should of kept it utterly pinned and rode up the kerbing.

Forget about the bill, that is a serious impact. The barrier and modern safety features of the car will have saved that guys life. I'd imagine that had he had the same crash in an older hot hatch, it would have crumpled and might have resulted in more then a big bill. Imagine that impact in a Williams...
