Nearside front shock noise??

Its making a hissing sound when going over speed humps? also recently squeeking/grinding noise when driving slowly anyone had this problem before?

Its on a 172 cup its only done 22k so wouldnt think it was the shocks.
Ive checked for an oil leak but they look in good condition.

Shocks can go at anytime regardless of mileage

Does anyone know the signs of a dead shock?

It will skip when steering and generally feel like s**t and when you go over bumps it will feel like there is no shocks, they sometimes chuck out their oil also lol. Have a look at your front springs as it could be a broken one thats causing grinding

I had this today and it was because my top mount had come loose so whilst going over a bump the shock was dropping down by a few mill.
