need 17" tyres soon

Hi, got me sum 205/40/r17 toyos on at the mo, but was wondering can i go up 2 215/40/r17 tyres as my car has not been lowered.
If so what do people think would be a good choice.

I think they would be too wide, I know they just fit on clios on 15s but 17s might be pushing it. If its for better handling then youd be better lowering it a bit but more importantly geting the best tyres you can afford. Eagle F1 GSD3 are about £86 on mytyres I believe.

Yeah i was thinking they would be too wide and it might catch on the side of the bumper and splash guards, i think its more trouble than its worth

F1s are great - I'd spend the money on decent tyres as they're the only thing that hold you on the road! lol
