NEED A QUICKER 1.6!!!!

Ive already got a Ramcharger induction kit on my clio. What modifications can i do to make my motor quicker. My mate has just bought a vw lupo gti and his beats me by a second 0-60mph. Help!!!!

All I think i need is

EXHAUST

CAM KIT


SUPERCHIP and then maybe an upgrade.

Heres what u gonna do..

Denso iridium spark plugs,full excaust system,and of course reprogrammed ecu.With these u will reach 120 hp and 16 kg torgue...

If u want serious power via naturally aspirated motor,u can get camms(I use dr schrick) u should raise the compretion at 11/1,lighten up ur flywheel and port the cylinder head-gass flowing.By these u reach 140-145 hp and the torgue rises up to 17-18 kg.

As I have written many times before,Im now checking some other ways for increasing the power of my car,and between them are the forged pistons(probably the displaysment will go at 1700+cc)for high compretion(12/1).This means another 5-10 hp and 1-2 kg of torgue,but I am researching it and this means that I cant tell u for sure.

Also by the end of the next week Ill visit the dynamometer in order to see whether the throttle of the megane 2,0 rs 140hp has given anything..

With this youll Tank him...I wouldnt be 2 upset, the lupo weight about the same as a Spare wheel in ur car!!

buy a saxo vts/106 gti they are the fastest 1.6s i know of

those traffic light acceleration races are futile. take a car with enough horsepower and traction control, put a moneky behind the wheel and it will likely beat them all

tune ur car, get faster than that lupo but then there will be another stupid monkey with more money and horsepower who will spank u.

all these "i need more power to beat that car at the 0-60" dont make no sense. learn how to drive, take those guys to the twisty stuff and u will be able to leave them behind driving a tired 1.2 litre car with bald tyres, no matter how many hp, what cams or what induction kits they have. that will give u more satisfaction that doing those stupid small time drag races.

i wouldnt get cams as the car runs like a bag of sh*t at low revs, work well when the cars being thrashed though not practical when in rush hour traffic.
