I have clio 172 MK2 with size 195/45/16.

Need advice what to choice:
Good Year F1 GSD3
Yokohama S-Drive
Toyo T1R

What is the best tire for dry and hot weather ?

Lior

yokohama = ok in the dry, w**k in the wet
Toyo = w**k in the dry, w**k in the wet lol
Goodyear = good in the dry, awesome in the wet
PE2s I'm not sure about as I haven't driven on them!

Have a search, there's been loads of discussion on this subject :)

I just fit the new Bridgestone Potenza RE001 Adrenalin. It is a replacement tyre of S-03.

I only drove with it for 1 hour. Excellent! Worth for a try.

today I have the good year and had an offer for S-drive. From your opinion what is the best ? stick with the good year ?

If the GoodYear Eagle F1 GS-D3 is not made in Thailand, worth a try too.
But if you want quality tyre, go for either Michelin or Bridgestone. They are big.

pe2's all the way, think gsd3's have been superceded though the replacements sound good (cant remember what they are called). They got an excellent write up in the recent evo tyre test though not sure if they are available in 205/45/16.

same problem, few years later...

my tire man where I 'used' to go has put continental ecocontact on my f1's...
the car feels rubbish, no traction, no confidence to drive it as it should be driven...

I'm very tempted to try the yokohame neova but think it's a bit overkill for a roadcar...

I'm looking for a good allrounder, wet-dry-performance.

yokohama s drive
bridgestone t001
hankook ventus k110
or try the semi slicks...

any advice welcome!
