need help with my laptop

hey needs some laptop help,

i just brought the old republic to play on my laptop but the framerate is poor even low quality settings.
is it possible to upgrade the graphics card on this laptop ? http://www.itproportal.com/2010/02/17/699-sony-vaio-vpc-cw1z4e-p7450-gt230m-500gb-bluray/

i heard that most laptops you cant upgrade because the graphic cards are welded into the motherboard.

or could i upgrade the RAm from 4gb to 8gb? would that improve frame rate

I'm no expert but seen as nobody else has replied, as far as I know ram might help but won't solve your lack of gpu problem, and I don't think you can up upgrade graphics cards on most laptops

Rams probably the only thing worth doin but not a proper fix, I don't know if they are still made anymore but I'm sure years ago people had external graphics cards lol, if it's for gaming get yourself a desktop, more power for your money

Looking at the motherboard you wont be able to upgrade the graphics, To get the most out of what you have try upgrading to the latest drivers.

I wouldn't wate your money upgrading the ram...

new laptop time I'd say
