Need help!!

just got back in from a journey out and pulled up at some traffic lights went to pull away and i get this grinding noise !!! dont no were is coming from checked my arches, checked that i aint got a flat , i dunno what it could be it seems to go once i have got going like the brakes are grinding or something ?? sounds stupid but how would i check that i only got new ones on a couple of months ago ...
please help

dunno no lights on or anything cars not driving anydifferent just feels like my brakes are stuck on but not on if you no what i mean ??? i dunno whay theve got stuck if so i was only driving home stopped at some traffic lights and it started doing it !!!!

my abs warining and serv lights only come on when i go above 40mph and they stay on untill i switch the engine off and on then move off again, annoying as f*ck, but it dont sound like this

no i no its really bloody anoying when things just happen especially when your moving quite happily lol.... will get up early and pop my bonnet make sure nothing is rubbing....
what can i do if my brakes are grinding at the front like how do i get them off ??

Could be the pads have worn away and biting into the disk.

Do you have any metal marks or scores on the disk?

not sure will have to look in the morning, literally just got in so couldnt see much outside... hopefully not though as i aint had them that long !!always happens when you aint got anymoney... i cant seem to hear it once i get going its when i stop then go to pull away again literally grinding noise

forgot to add clutch is fine still dumps and changes gear and that ok

aaahhhh ok could it be that i looked under my bonnet this morning and my top mount was split in half the rear pad bit has snapped off !!!!
but what would make it grind when i pull off ???

all fixed and i tell ya what f**k it was literally broken in to ... seems to be ok at the moment ....its easy getting it all off but getting the bolts back is alot harder than it explains in haynes manual lol

So the pads were worn down then?

Thought it was, i remember ruining a pug 206 discs because of the pads being low, pfew it wasnt mine.

no wernt the mounts it was the top mount !!! snapped clean in to

the big bit of the mounts are different mate look at the shape and were the holes are totally dont fit... so i had to strip it take the rubber support tht broke in my one and change it over that way..

yea sorry so i think they sent me a ph1 one not a ph2 one ddooohh lol all better now though fixed it all now all i need is the one undreneith to make it all better perfectly
