need more speed

end of the day theres no substitute for CC..... unless u wanna bolt on a turbo?! ;)

yeah i suppose, unfortunately. 20 with 3 yrs no claims, thats it, but have my own place so have to watch the pennies!

oh, it isnt exactly a standard 1.2 tho, ask jon 1978 !
 


IIRC you have 17s on ??? remove them and swap them for the standard 15s, instant accelleration gains

remove induction kit, and refit OE airbox or fit pipercross viper IK or similar)

exhaust is a must, the OE one seemed to be very restrictive on mine

remove the ICE, again, weight generally slows a vehicle down
 


what bambam said is very true. my exhaust is restrictive, need a whole system. i had my interior completely out of my 1.2 a few weeks back, and its suprising how much lighter the car felt.

I fail to understand all this stripping. Why buy a car with lots of nice interior etc, then rip it all out to make the car "feel" lighter ?
