I'd take the time to look at as many reviews on dedicated photo printers as you can.
Obviously they are specific to the one job and cannot therefor be used for multiple uses. Taking the initial cost asside the paper and the ink can be quite expensive and they are not particularly quick either.
If you need to print photo's imediately then I guess they are excellent but there's many other alternatives which produce better results and are cheaper (Boots, Kodak machines, online printers etc)

Its not for me otherwise i would she has a budget and all she wants is one that prints photos and is a good make
