Help needed with 172 as trackday tomorrow.

Guys I need some suggestions!
I’ve got my last trackday of the year tomorrow in my 172.
So this evening on the way home from tesco I stopped at car wash to give the weeks crud a quick wash away.
Finished the wash and jumped in and started the car and it’s now revving high. So drove it tve short distance home and put my cheap get out of trouble obd tester on and it’s showing no faults. The tester works fine normally as I’ve used it to diagnose issues in the past.
No faults showing so hard a good look under bonnet and all plugs hoses etc where they should be. Hasten to add I did not wash engine bay but just outside bodywork.
So I’ve disconnected the battery and will give it an hour in case that may reset anything.
Any suggestions as not really wanting to take my wife’s diesel fiesta on track?

Battery disconnect wont do nowt. Is the eml on? Does it rev or just high idle no throttle? Check all bolts are still in the plenum and no hoses off

Battery was a clutch at straws. All bolts in situ.
Just started again and revs have returned to normal.
BUT I have this warning light on.
What’s this one??

Seems it’s a very vague one. Will spin it up the road shortly and see if drives on.

Ok a bit of an update. Done visuals of all and can’t find anything out of the norm. All dry in the fusebox area. So rechecked obd stuff and nothing.
Restarted and idle had come down but the light above was still on. So took it up my road and it was running in limp, so back home and scratch my head. Anyway ign on again and light has gone out and idle is a smidge high and fluctuating slightly. But as the light was out I went for a short spirited run and power is back but as idle is still slightly not right I’ve loaded the car up ready to go to the track tomorrow.
Somehow somewhere I’m sure some moisture has entered somewhere but I’m of the thinking that by the morning residual heat may well dry whatever it is leaving it all fine for tomorrow.
Should any recurrence happen I’ll have to tap up a good friend on here who has the full Renault kit to dig deep.
But for now I’m not going to worry anymore and go send it tomorrow!!
Thanks all.

Need clip to see what fauls are stored with electrical fault light on. Usually relates to fusebox area/corrosion on relays, white plug corrosion etc. Remove and refit relays if any further issues.

Yes that would be the plan.
Thanks
