Need tyre pressure sensors disabled

Can anyone do this at a cost as my Renault garage won't do it without a letter from my insurance. Basically won't do it... And I'm scared it will fail the new MOT regulations for saying tyre pressure sensor fault when I turn the car on. Plus it's annoying

In co.durham area.
I'm presuming it can be done with the clip.

A car won't fail an MOT for the engine warning light being on at the moment, so I would be surprised if it failed on that.
