Need your help - passenger electric window

Hi Guys & Gals,
Thought i'd come on here to try and solve a problem with the other halfs car. Basically the passenger side electric window doesn't work. Now ive been down the scrap yard and put a new electric motor in, switch and a new loom. However it still doesn't work. There is the chance that the motor from the scrapyard was also broken but the chances are slim. Would there be anything else that i might need to check?
(drivers window works fine!)

Also the car has problems starting and sometimes goes flat. Im going to put a new battery on and put some new sparkplugs in. However im also concerned that something isn't right here also.

Any help would be greatfully appreciated.

Might be being stupid as not an electrical genius, but have you checked fuses? Also there could be a problem with the switch?

As for your other problem - alternator???

Not really all that technical but couldnt the battery dying and occasionally not starting up be an alternator issue?

Not sure what to suggest about the window. Does the motor at least try to work or just get nothing from it. I woulda said try the drivers side motor on that side see if it works but this could lead to the drivers side then deciding it doesnt wanna work.

Forgot to mention the car is a clio 1.4rt (M-reg)
