I know you can use resistors to keep dash light off when removing airbags but if you want to cut down your loom and tidy up wires etc... I can recommend http://dashwarninglights.co.uk .
Had them reconfigure my airbag/pretensioners etc... so no dash lights and therefore you can lose a lot of the cabling on the floor. I know Fastchip can program RS tuners for this function but as an alternative this is good value for £40 fixed at your home address imho.
