neons off speakers

ive heard that u can power neons off speakers and they flash with the bass. i was wondering can i do this off my rear speakers?

also, does this have an effect on sound? if so im not arsed cos theyre only the rears.

BTW, fitted some JBL 5.25 coaxials in the rear today, i must say, im impressed with the increase as oppoised to standard. however, i asw some infinity ones for 20 quid more, will there be much in it?

dont think u can run the neons off the speakers, dont know the exact reason but i dont think it can be done.

theres no power going to the speakers just sound i believe, im no techical wiz tho

There is power going through, but it is AC. The power flutuates from +ve to -ve. I dont think neons would like this?

you can wire up a neon to a 12v live that responds to bass in your car, even halfords sell them...tacky

run off your fag lighter.. or cut the end off and wire it into your 12v power supply.

or alternatively you buy neons which have work off the bass line, fuel make them and you can get them from just ice. got them in my car and are really good. contact cuptastic for more details.

no chance of u running neons of te speakers, need a 12v power and a earth! mates just linked them up to his cig lighter wires and boot light wires with optional musical response,
