neons (yet another question)

just brought a blue neon tube to go inside my boot and on the end of the cable its got the connector to fit into the cigarette lighter slot, but i dont want to plug it into their because it looks a mess with all the wires. so is there any chance of wiring it to the light inside the boot so it comes on when when i open my boot?

I m sure you can, You ca split the cigarette Lighter cable in two thing one is positive and one is negative, Seem to remember doing on my mates VTS with his Video machine power lead. Connected the positive to the Remote though not an interior light.

thanks for ya help, ive got them working now, just cut the wire which led to the boot light and connected the wires from the neons to the existing wires which went to the boot light. they work fine
