Netbooks / Hdmi

Hey, after a little advice on netbooks. I need to purchase one before i go travelling, however not sure what i need to suit my needs.

I'll be using it to upload photos to FB, music and watch films/youtube etc. Was interested in an HDMI out so i can stream to a tv in hd, however i've heard netbooks can struggle with 1080p.

Got a budget of upto 400. So any help/insider tips on whats currently good would be awesome.

  None :(
hmmm i would love to see a netbook play 1080p stream! And for under £400. If you do find one, let me know :)

How does the HDMI work from laptop to TV? Does audio and video go through the one cable?

Oh wow, that's just what I need!

I was struggling the other day with an alternative cable.

Picked up an 11" toshiba satellite T110-107 for 370 as its refurbished so got the under 400 with hdmi out and 3gb ram and 250hd so will stream hd to tv fine and process a f**k lot faster than a tiny netbook but is also portable and light at 1.58kg. Plus the carbon fibre look case is s**t hot.

doesnt that have a 1.3 gig, are u sure thats enough for hd, sure itll be fine with divx, but will it cope with 720?

Nah, 3gb memory, intel core 2 solo su2700 and gma 4500M graphics.

Will let you know how it runs once I set it up. If it doesn't stream 720 it'll be going straight back tbh
