New 182 - Problems - Need help.

​Hi Guys,

I picked up my 182 cup last friday, been perfect not missed a beat.


Although since last night I've had terrible noise coming from my back quarter.. Whirling noise.. I'm presuming it's a wheel bearing? - Can someone point me in the right direction to what one I actually need.


I also have turinis speedlines if that makes a difference to what one I need?




ALSO while on subject, my rear brake disks look awful , rusty and looks as if they're about to crumble. Once again can you please point me into the direction of good budget rear disks and pads.




Ending on a positive note - the car is amazing and I'm very happy with it.

G172 is the man for new brakes on here ! Cheapest going and best quality amazing delivery ! And the rear wheel bearings are inside the disc , so may as well replace them while your at it ! Good practice to anyway !

That will although price seams very cheap so I'd be quite dubious !!

From memory that isn't the normal bearing setup (someone can correct me if i'm wrong). A little more money gets you Mintex or genuine Renault, not worth being cheaper than necessary here imo

By the sounds of it you need to replace the rear discs, pads and bearings. I'm just over the water in Somerset if you want a specialist.

I've literally killed myself off money wise at the moment from buying the car then paying out the insurance in one go.

I'm trying to keep budget myself until I get paid , But this needs sorting ASAP

Replace the disks and bads (use genuine) - the rear bearing are one unit with the rear discs so if a bearing has gone, you need to chance the disks anyway.

I stand corrected, thanks Dan. It's just when I've done it I have replaced the full unit for peace of mind.
