New 197 owner (hooray!!)

Picked up my aluminium silver 197 last week and I am loving it!

Question for all you "old hands" - how long will I feel the need to burn up everyone, and behave like a boy-racer (I'm a 53-year old female!!)?

Can't wait to get up and drive to work every day - that'll wear off surely?!?!

Lols! Sounds like fun!

The colour is called nimbus I believe, don't think they came in mercury silver.

Pics?

Lol - Welcome Along. watch out for a chap called Macev6 - he prefers a mature lady, and he's a handsome lad so beware.

The feeling will wear off when it starts to fall to bits

I bet you treat it well, but firm in such experienced hands.

Nothing better than an older women with a younger model.

Hmmm - not sure what I've started here! And I already have a younger model :rasp:.

It says on my paperwork "aluminium silver" - but I will bow to your superior knowledge.

Good point about car falling to bits - especially the way I'm driving it .

Thanks for all the replies - look forward to chatting.

Thanks Ste666 - I know what you mean - my previous car was nice and nippy about town but useless on the open road! Partner's car is a TT, and he's desperate to drive my 197 - not putting him on the insurance yet though!!! :D

Enjoy your driving.
