Turbo is not in my league, at least for now. There is incredibly huge customary expenses here so I would not even bother looking at the kits.

Wait for it, this kit is for Pug206 GTI/RC but fully compatible with Clio 172. Even better than Clio 172 specific one since it has a nice polished and colored Al inlet pipe matching the diameter of the Clio's butterfly. I think I am gonna use that bracket while fixing it or at least cable tie it to an appropriate location

Nice one that short shifter Alper , good choice. Came out best on an independent test above 2 others, one being a genuine Renault sport one i believe !

This one is on my want list too , first up are tyres (+ some Speedlines)

Have some questions about the megane RS injectors. Did the Fastchip custom remap indicate that the car didnt get enough fuel?

I will install CatCams 428 + catcam valve springs and do a custom map so im a bit curious.

Not yet, it is gonna be done in next month. I am busy with my dad's 1.6 16V Clio. Henk is remapping it currently. He certainly knows what he does, we gained % 6-8 over superchip's map with his custom map. He also wiped out the excessive KC. I am very well pleased with the results.

Nope, currently injector duty cycle hits 91 % at around 7200 rpm. It is best to keep it lower 80's % if possible. That's why I bought bigger size injectors. Henk's remap is by far the best.

if you still have not bought cams, I strongly suggest you to buy Colombo&Bariani's. The massive gains are well proven on many CS user's cars including me

yep it was kinda surprise for me as well. That red pipe is 72 mm OD, fits perfectly to Hill Power or SAMCO silicone elbows

It's very nice! Nice touch. I had one of the first generation Maxogens in 2004? Still rate it as the best A/m airbox on the market.

Hmm not realy sure were to buy these. If i take a look at the Fastchip webpage and performance logs I already have the same peak power output as a 172 with the Colombo cams @ 115,7kW and 194Nm.

From RS tuner performance analyze I got:

115,8kW @ 6336rpm 188,6Nm @ 5383 ,drag 26.4 and weight 1200kg

This is on a 182 with stock cams, just mild modifications to inlet and cathlyst. RS tuner generic map and a Milltek exhaust.

UPDATE !!!!

First of all I should have done these mods before.

Awesome piece of kits both.

Short shifter, now the stick never moves while accelerating, perfect, and while shifting you really feel the gear ways.



ITG Maxogen, nothing new just awesome as known Probably the biggest filter element which can fit without any modification in the bay. Very nice light weight casing and also heat insulation. Without saying more word, I am going to collect some data via my RSTUNER and we will see the pressure drop across the rpm range and compare it against the ITG panel. It feels much better at top end. I would not want to mention the roar

Was it easy to install ? And did you also fit the clutch-pin (optional) or left it OEM ?

Hi Frank,

Installation is easy, 5th gear is tricky but I am quite sure, any mechanic can easily adjust it.

I did not get clutch pin, OEM one is more than enough.
