New Alloys...need to tell insurance?

Hi all.

When I bought my 2000 Clio 1.4i 8v Sport, it already had 14 inch alloys on it (the standard ones), i have just put some 15 inch gold alloys on and wondered if i need to tell the insurance??

When i asked them they just said, I only need to tell them if I am increasing power and/or performance....and that they are unable to insure me if I have increased power and/or performance.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Cheers!!
