Hey mate, just joined here also insurance when your under 20 is always unpleasant..but i would say if your modifying it stay away from zurich insurance and go for a more specialised company....i speak from personal experience!

I feel for you both, i`m 23 and theres quiet a huge difference between the insurance charges even though theres only a few years difference, which always struck me as being insane, i guess all i can say is wait it out as best as you can, if i were you both i would keep the car off the drive and modify it but then..thats just me
