I must admit, when I heard Audi were going to use a turbocharged version of the V10 unit, I though people were telling porkies.
Turns out to be true which does beg the question, Audi are releasing a cheaper car that will keep up with a gallardo!why? obviously i know lambos are not bought on speed alone lol lol looks very heavy but a turbo'd v10 will sort that problem out LOL!

My uncle used to havw an RS6 drove it a few times, got to say the car is an enginering masterpiece, its comfortable,stylish, understated,handles beautifully, so so quiet oh and 600bhp! its fecking mental when you put your foot down. Its accelleration like ive never felt before in my life! In somthing that big enough for the kids, the wife and the 4 beagles in the boot.

If the new one is anything like the old one:
I'd have one tomorrow.

i said this ages ago ! my all time favourite car the RS6 !
would take on any supercar and its a huge family wagon.

they are also doing a 6.0 V12 TwinTurbo Diesel in the RS6 which will also be in the R8 at some point too apparently ! that engine produces 737 lb/ft which is equivalent (sp?) to like 2 RS4 engines.
oh and the diesel will probs end up in the next lambo brought out too. supposed to be one of the best new engines available.

That's the S6...

They wouldn't give it the proper Lambo 500bhp engine if the RS6 is only going to gain 20 or so over that when it's released.

Much like Merc and the 55 vs 63 issue.
