Why are the plates illegal? Ive heard a couple of people say that but no one has told me the reason. Police saw it last night when they followed me and when they came to bollock us but never said anything.

Well ok went to south end for bout an hour, that was straight to the cruise then basically left. Cant say I saw any shops.

Cant believe that I have put pics up of my car and it hasnt been completely slated. Very impressed (no doubt the abuse will start soon)

Nah it had rained earlier in the day so the car was kinda wet. The plates I think were about £45 for the playboy bunny and stuff but the actual reg we got cheap.

things that are illegal with the plate = the playboy logo (legally you can only have the eu logo or national flag), the backing (you arent allowed patterend (except honeycomb and cubed IIRC),textured or reflective backings with lettering/logos/pictures), The spacing of the letters(they are incorrectly spaced on the plate), the actual lettering (the only type you can have legally is 3D or solid black(yours appear to be textured/patterned)

Tongue biting/fence sitting have replaced slating btw.

Would be a very empty forum if we didnt post. Besides ive given you some useful info on just how illegal your plates are when a copper with half a clue pulls you for them (if they do) and fines you, youll know why now.

Tints look too dark on front windows.

Non EU stamped rear clusters.

Correct me if im wrong.

no people sl*g off different things, some people on here call those how stick to subtle exterior changes and concentrate on performance and handling related changes boring old farts or warranty huggers etc. And the "boring old farts" frown upon OTT paintjobs bodykits and silly lights. Its a "Discussion forum" not a "general agreement" forum so everyone is entitled to say their piece and have an opinion which in a country that has free speech is totally fair IMO. If people started making personal insults about each others personal apperance then fair enough it would be out of order but cars are fair game IMO.

Tints far to dark on front but again the police have seen me or my bloke driving it round but nothin as of yet. I know ill get pulled for something but till then gona drive it round proud, any way the windows can be wound down soon so thatll hopefully solve that

i think the lexus lights are eu stamped, not sure though i dont own any, i ment how much was the actual reg,

the car is pretty nice, just a few things that let it down, i also think you should put the fogs in the outer holes, if you got rid of the lexus lights and the stickers (and maybe the tints/neons) i think you would only get positive comments, though of course its your car, and if you like it why should you car what people think?

my opinion on car - most i like but id remove lexus lights, change fogs back, change tints and possibly remove stickers but all in all its pretty good
