New car detail

Guy's what kind of services are there for having a new car properly sealed etc? I'd done some googling but it isn't overly clear.

Would I just throw cleandetail.co.uk £300 to come to the dealer and give it a go over before I collect it?

You will need someone decent to apply a proper quartz coating, clean detail will be fine for that. As long as you don't go for rubbish dealer scotch guard deal you'll be ok.

If it was me i'd make sure the wheels were sealed inside and out, arches sealed and interior sealed as a minimum.

Sorry if I'm being daft but, can you not take delivery prior to having work carried out? Then you could drop it off with the likes of Nick CleanDetail

Seems pointless driving it to Donny, when it'll be sat at the dealers for a week getting PDI'd.

Makes sense getting it done whilst it's there imo.

Did clean detail do a break down of what they will do for £300?

That's right mate. I'd expect CQuartz Finest or GTechniq C1 for that price and if it's any easier for you I'd ask for the detailer to carry it out before collection.

I always suggest getting it done at the dealership if possible because detailers can give you a bit more power with rejecting a car for any reason related to paint etc. and any issues can't be blamed on you because the car hasn't left the dealership yet!

Bingo, don't let the dealer touch it. Get the detailer to inspect the car upon delivery off the transporter. If he's worth his salt and money he'll do it properly.

Clean Detail are pretty good. What area is the dealer Stevo? I'll find you a detailer.

Asif lad, don't be pissing £300 away when you'll have it in the Kurdish car wash in three weeks! I go through this phase Everytime I get a car lol. It's new so by the time you sell it or trade it in two years time it will be someone else's problem lol.

Thank you all for the recommendations. We offer a range of services directed at new vehicles, but its important to remember not all vehicles are defect free and there for will require a machine polish of some sort.

If your after Ceramics/ Quartz sealants we can offer Gen-3 Glasscoat, Gtechniq, & Gyeon. We will no longer be offering Carpro finest as i find the Gyeon products better in terms of finish, protections & durability. Although dependant on how the car is going to be looked after and washed depends whether id suggest a wax or sealant.

We can offer a mobile service at your dealership, but we would request a ramp ideally, so should you want the wheels etc removed they can be done correctly, just like at our studio. If this is no good we can arrange a covered transporter to collect & deliver your vehicle back.

Here is 2 vehciles we had delivered from Sytner BMW Sheffield on the transporter, both for their showroom.

Here is our set-up, ideal for wheels off detailing and applying ceramic coats as the studio is temperature & humidity controlled.
