hello iam new here and have just got a brand new 04 clio and under the bonnet there a 1.4 air box and cover and not the usual silver 1.2one which is on older ones. cos mines a 1.2. its not a problem just i wanted a k and n filter an dont know which one to get. weater its a 1.2 air box or 1.4. if you know any think about it. cheers dave.

right, uve got lots of options for the airfilter...
first thing... increases bhp or noise or both? (the latter being more expensive!)
For bhp, u want a closed kit so that no hot air gets dragged into the engine. Something like a IK kit ect. For noise, u want a K&N as they seem to be the loudest really.. and then theres MY airfilter..basically its a closed K&N with an extended induction pipe, which means yes, MORE noise! the following pics show the extended metal pipe going into a closed box where the filter cone is, and the cool air is fed to it via the external hole which is in the front grille...
