New CD Changer

Hi

Just bought a pioneer cd changer, but not sure where to fit it and about the wire connections.
It says that it needs to be connected to the negative on the battery and an earth point, i thought it just connected to the back of the unit.
Its being fitted to a pioneer head unit.

I fitted the actual changer under the passenger seat, as renault supply a tray/ pressed metal plate for holding the standard changer. I drilled another couple of holes in it and fitted it to that. completely OE look

I had one of these with my old pioneer HU. The main IP Bus connection plugs straight into the back of the HU. In the main Pioneer loom that connects the HU to the Renault speaker and power plugs should have a bullet connector inline for you to attach the cd changer 'live' to, and the earth I connected to the chassic around the passenger seat.

Ok, so there should be a connector to connect the 'Live' wire to the wiring loom. Thanks
