New CD Player Not working with Side Controls

Hi there. I recently bought a 98 S REG clio, and I'm happy with it, except for some small problems...(airbag light coming on, not knowing how the central locking works)

But I've also encountered the fact that when I use the new CD player it has been fitted with, the volume side controls dont respond to it???

Does anyone know how I can fix this? It is a Sony CD Player if that helps.

you need a cable to get the controls working. The air bag is a conection under the seat, remove and clean and replace. It mkight not have central locking.

Thanks for that. I'm having a look at that website now.

As for the connections under the seat... how do I do that? Do I physically remove them and put the same plastic bits back, or do I need to buy another? Is it costly?
