Believe it or not you don't have to spend 700 notes on H&R's to improve it.
I've recently changed the springs for a second hand set of Eibach Pro's and its improved it massively, and it was darn good anyway...and it only cos me 75 quid.
If you aren't looking to spend a fortune and you aren't one of those people too bothered about the car being 'slammed' then Eibach springs (Pro's or Sportlines) are a good way to go.
A good panel filter such an ITG and maybe some subtle cosmetic changes such as Silvervision indicator bulbs and you are pretty much sorted.
Again its all down to personal preference and the size of your wallet!
not wanting 2 go over the top with money jst lookin 2 make a few improvments mainly visual not fussed about performance at the mo!Im not the boy racer type as i hav kids jst want my car 2 look nice and turn a few heads! Was wondering if there is any way 2 get the interior dash around the cd player etc blue as it is obv black at the mo!
If your not sure what to change but you want to change something, leave it as it is for a bit and then you may be inspired later on. My 172 is bog standard and I dont yet want to change anything cosmetic, dont want to look chavvy, may do a decent induction kit and pipes but thats it....
Thanx for all the advice so far the only thing i hav done is painted my brake calipers blue!Which looks quite nice am also thinking bout getting my seats reupholstered so they are leather instead dont know how 2 go about this tho lol
If you don't know what to do, keep it as it is until you get some inspiration. All I done when I first got my car was put some silvervision indicator bulbs in and changed to white led sidelights so they match the xenons. If you want to update the interior a bit, could always go for some recaros - although a bit pricey!
