right maybe a little late to the story but is this just a revamp ie new bodywork or will it be new engines as well? will the 197 be replaced with something by renault sport?

Good question. I dont think the 197 will gain that many changes coz the previous sports just added slight mods. 182 wasn't face lifted just a little more with the times etc. I reckon the power will be upped a bit, but i reckon the front bumper could possibly stay the same.
But i dunno, ya never can tell with renault lol!

I don't think there will be any engine changes. I can't see the RS Clio being turbocharged.

I dont think there will be much in the way of changes. Theres the new GT model and afaik they are introducing the 1.4 16v TCE 130 into the range, the same engine thats going into Megane 3. I doubt they will do anything with the 197 apart from minor cosmetic things and interior spec etc. They usually tweak the suspension though, based on feedback from owners.
