new clutch

while my gearbox is out the garage told me i might as well change my clutch as its on its way out and it would make sense to do it now while the engines out......they sed theyd do it for £100 on top of getin my gear box recond....

how much are new williams clutches?

K-Tec have one for £65.



for my 1.2 16V it was £60+Vat from renault but i know the guy in parts and got it for £30+Vat

no sorry that was just the buy the actual clutch and my mate whos a mechanic done it for me.

renault take somthing stuid like £400 to supply and fit a 1.2 16V clutch i think.

i went to renault to get a clutch fitted just wanted to know a price he came back with £650 all in!my jaw dropped and i ran!that was for a mk1 1.4!
