Right, i have a mark1, phase 3.
i robbed a dash with rev counter etc. from a mark 1 phase 1/2 1.4. at a scrappy and threw it in my car today.
i got all the wiring for everything else, all the lights work on the dash etc(apart from the rear foggies).
However, i can't get the rev counter working. Anyone know where the pulse comes through for it!?
What is comes off of, what wires... etc.
I've looked at the wiring diagrams in the Haynes manual but still no help because according to them it should work. Unless its just broken.
Anyone experienced anything like it before?
Could it be because of the fact the two cars are a diffrent engine type?
