New engine help/advice

  Clio 172
I was going to get timing belt, water pump and clutch done but engine has done just under 90k so just considering my options,

Does any one know where to buy a new/part used engine? I would consider one standard or upgraded however i dont want a full on Group N style one as the car is used for my daily comute and some fast road driving. Would like to get the car on track in future but not currently doing this.

Any advice, links & info would be greatly appreciated!

The car is regulary serviced and i intend to keep it for atleast another 3 years.

Thanks

y would you want a new engine. 90k isnt really a problem on these cars as long as its been looked after. if you buy a new engine all the things you mentioned will need replacing neway so you will end up out of pocket neway and possibly a newer engine that hasnt been looked after.

As above really. If your current engine is shagged then go ahead and buy a new one. If it isn't, just get the belts changed and a full service and it'll keep going for years.

As said unless the engine has blown up don't change it. There is a Trophy on here that's still going strong after 170k so the engine isn't an issue.
