My names Andy, I'm 29 from Newcastle. Gave up performance cars about 18months ago when me and the missus were trying for a baby. Driving a 2002 Bora 1.6s, with a throbbing 105bhp. Well my baby is 6 weeks old now and the itch is back and I need something for the weekend and summer blasts with the boys.
Past cars include mk2 xr2, a few Nissan pulsar GtiR's, 200sx, dc2 96spec, dc5, 98 spec dc2, eg6 civic.
After a recent pub meet I fell for my mates LY R26 megane and initially fancied one of those, but spent a week or so looking at 172/182's and for the money, and the toys you get I think it would be ideal for a weekend play thing for me. I fancy a blue 172 cup for the colour but I don't wanna lose all the toys when the performance difference is so marginal. My budget is anything from 3k to 4.5k, and for that I want the most for my money, lowest milage, youngest etc, and may end up going private sale to get the best deal.
I've paid my tenner to get better access for my research and puchase.
