New front seats...

Has anyone had any experience with fitting aftermarket seats in a MK2 (9Clio. If so, how do you get around the fact that the seat belt pre tensioners seem to be wired into the front seats. Whenever these are disconnected the airbag warning light comes. Also does anyone stock specialist sub frames or do you have to use crappy universal ones???

I looked at doing this a while ago on our Megane. Total nightmare, unless you dont mind losing pretensioners, airbag functionality etc. I wanted to fit 4-point belts too. If you find a solution please post it!

I have these seatbelt pre tensioners in my Phase 3 Mk1 Clio, but I have no airbag. So I just unclipped them and left them off, seems no difference to me....

If you have a Heynes Manuel it does tell you what to do...
