Ive managed to royally f**k up my gearbox in my 1.4 16v clio. ( no more burnouts 4 me now then) Well is not the gearbox but the lower linkage bar connecting my gearbos to the engine. Does anyone know if it would b possible to put a 172 gearbox in it or is it just never going to happen???

Depends where the starter is. If its in the same position then most likely. Im running a 1.4 gearbox on my 172.

gearing isnt much different. if atall.
