New GTR skyline video

Haven't watched the video as im at work but what you mean same block?

This is a V6 old skyline was a straight 6

and before i start that rant... here is my first its NOT A f**king SKYLINE!

the engine is SIMILAR to the 350z and the g35 skyline vq engine it has the same bore ....

ITS NOT THE SAME AS A R32/33/34 GTR SKYLINE!!!! they are striaght 6's this is a v6 good god man!!!

It may not have "skyline" on the back but it is basically a skyline! they've just decided to ditch the name in favour of GT-R
 
I agree with the "It's not a Skyline" statement. They arent calling it a skyline, they are calling it a GT-R, so it ISN'T a Skyline, IT IS a GT-R.

Ford stopped making the Escort, its replacement was the Focus, but nobody goes round calling them the Escort do they?
 
I thought it was actually called the Skyline GT-R, this one is just called the GT-R, i think Nissan know what its called, and nowhere is it called a Skyline.

Everyone knows its a bloody skyline whether its got a badge on the back or not lol
 
we know its not oficially a skyline but everyone will always know it as a skyline the r-- clasification has been used with teh skyline name since teh r30 in 1981 so its gonna be hard to undo 27 years of people knowing it as that isnt it :)

the moniker gt-r has been around since 1969 though used on the C10 skyline

but the skyline name has been in use since 1957 !!

Note the formally. We are not disputing its not derived from the Skyline, or indeed an evolution of the Skyline. It's just not called a skyline.

go to japan and walk in a nissan dealers... say "skyline" and they will take you to this...
