new hand brake handle

at the moment my clio mk2 ph1 features a standard grey plastic handbrake handle, if i were to purchase a new one, how would i go about fitting one, and has anyone done it and has a picture i can see. would really help, cheers guy, quick response would be ideal

cut the old one with a stanley knife i guess ??
