new headlight bulbs

You used the gold ones on the link? Or the ones that are just the nightbreakers? Do they give off a bright white light or a yellow light if you know?
 
Also if anyone could recommend some others which are really good for the same price that would be good thanks
 
Ive got nightbreaker plus from eurocarparts but not gold tip, and they are brilliant mate, the gold tips will surely be better, im gonna get some now lol
 
Just ordered some of the nightbreaker plus gold tip ones :D im sure they will be a lot better then the cheap £5 xenon look bulbs ive got now :P
 
I've just ordered some of these aswell. Along with white sidelight leds, a white rear number plate led, and boot and interior led lights. Everything should hopefully be nice and white soon!
 
Just got them on the car... they arnt that white :( they are pretty yellow but they are really bright!
 
I wish these were more white, dont get me wrong they are brilliant for the road but would like it if they were white as it makes the car look smarter :P
 
I see what you mean, you could always get the MTEC cosmos blue bulbs if you want them to be white/blue, but they wont be as bright.

you will never get a filament lamp to look white like a xenon lamp

if you go for blue filament lamps you are going to lose a hell of a lot of brightness

i've got osram nightbreakers in my polo and i would say they are far from yellow
 
ive got the gold tip nightbreakers and they are pretty yellow but ive grown onto them over a few days and at night they are really good :)
 
I may get some nightbreakers for my main beam in the near future, as I have some ebay special 6000k bulbs (which really arent that colour and are still yellow) and are really not bright :/
 
I've ordered some philips extreme vision H7s - they are supposed to be leagues ahead of everything else.
 
If you want a very bright Clean white light xenon look not chavy get Philips BLUE VISION ultra only , nightbreakers are s**t
 
now im realy confused as to what bulbs to put into my mk3. everyone says somin else lol. I want somin that gives of a nice colour glow but is still bright enough to use all year round as the mk3 is a pain in the bum to change the bulbs its all rather tight :P so is it Philips or osrams???
 
Installed the phillips blue visions today....a lot whiter (not like xenon white) and a lot better vision of field
 
Its all about what you prefer, i went for osram after the reviews on them being good and having a long life on them :) plus they give off a sort of white look. The range etc on them is great though :)
