New headunit

was wondering what lead I need to keep steering wheel controls? Someone told me I'd need to take off the top half of the dash to do so?

You will need two leads to keep the steering wheel controls.

A lead that is compatible with Renault's loom. And a patch lead for Pioneer stereos.

These are Autoleads parts which Halfords sell that require the dash to be removed to get to the loom behind the clock.

I believe MT AUDIO sells the brand Connects 2 which have different connections (he will be able to give you more info).

I fitted my leads yesterday. It's a bit of a mission getting all the leads behind the head unit but I managed it in the end. stalk controls all working now and the display on the centre console now says Renault on it.
