Solved my misfire with a new injector but the engine management light is still on, can this be cleared or is it something else?

Ah does that mean i've got to stare at that hoping its not a new fault until I can clear it? Anyone near Hereford able to help me out?

Best £12 i have spent (Now @ £14) but it turns off the engine management light and lets you read the fault codes also.

If you want everything cleared and a full check a Renault Clip is the best.

Get a cheap engine management code reader that is ok to check simple things. This can be bought from Ebay for as little as £14.
It will tell you the problem and let you reset the code and turn off the engine management light on your dash.

If you want it the car looked correctly and all the codes given to you in detail or deleted fully take it to someone who has a genuine Renault Clip (Main Dealer or Renault Specialist)

If the fault is fixed then the light will go out itself after a certain number of miles. For me it took a couple of days of driving, half a tank of fuels-worth, so approx 150 miles.

Having said that, when I had the light on it was for an unknown reason and never came back. More recently when a faulty injector was causing a missfire, for me the light was only flashing and this stopped as soon as the new injector stopped it missfiring. It sounds like your light is on for another reason IMO

You will still have a brake pedal fault stored with no lights or warning on the dash.
When the EML comes on the stops cruise control, when you plug it into a clip it throws up a brake pedal fault which i don't think can be cleared unless you have a good diagnostic tool or clip

brake pedal fault??? I thought the OP was on about his engine light, or the emmisions warning light as renault call it. Or have I missunderstood what he was asking?

The only time I've had cruise affected is with the abs and serv light on. Again, once I fixed the cause the lights went out and car works perfectly again. My car has never seen a CLIP!

No matter what the fault is if the EML light comes on in your car it turns the cruise control off which throws up a brake paddle fault.
Every time my EML came on due to a lambda fault i cleared it with my £12 hand held scanner and the cruise control would work but the fault was stored it would either need a good decent diagnostic tool or clip to clear it

Thanks I will get one if it doesn't clear soon. So no cruise control then why's that?

I have no idea why renault made it that when your EML light comes on your cruise control is also disabled.
As i say i had a lambda fault for months, keep on putting the light out myself with my code reader so there was no light and my cruise control would work but the fault is stored in the car and needs deleted.

Yeah is not like you'd be gutted at losing cruise control and feel you just had to get down to Renault to get the fault code deleted

  dan's cast offs.
light should go off straight away when you've swapped an injector, done a few and they have all gone out straight away. also found the brake switch/cruise fault is just a ghost code a lot of the time.
