New key...?

Yo

Looking to buy a spare key as I only have one.

I kinda lost it for like 20 mins and I was late for work. So I feel I need a spare.

I can buy a blank one from eBay for around £30

How do I go about getting the blade cut and then programmed?

Or do I have to go to my local renault garage?

Don't particularly want to pay too much...

I got my spare from Remote Key Man cost £85, takes all of 5 minutes to code and cut.
There is no call out fee if you go to him in Oldbury.

If it's a virgin unit (not programmed) he will do it for you and not charge as much.

Timpson's can also cut you a new key and code it at some shops.

It's virgin as far as i can see
will I have to give them my key or have the car close by for them to program the new key?

He will need the key and the car. Unsure about Timpson's, think they just need your original key, but don't think they will code your supplied key.
