New LED Dash

hi, just a pic of my LED speedo conversion, well worth the effort and time!

These have potential... but I've yet to see one where the needles look any good.

do you have red needles? swap them for white ones from an expression/authentique? they just pull off and pop on i done it on my old one

Yer. I never new they had different needles, shame would of looked really good, thinking about getting white dials so might do that aswel. Good first attempt i think lol.

How long did it take? Im going to do this soon enough, current ones got some blown LED's on there anyway so they need to be fixed.

Took me about an hour with a little bit of experience of soldering and never taking the dash off and stuff before, just be careful of the needles lol

Ahh right, got a heater control unit here I can mess about soldering with, what LED's need to be used? Tiny SMD ones I assume?

Looks niiice, thinking of doing this at some point, did you follow a guide from here?

I just used a 240v one with no heater control, just a fine tip and a steady hand lol. www.crazyleds.co.uk got loads of colours and one for the whole dash!
