New Macbook suggestions/help

In terms of power is the top spec 15' Macbook Pro with the additional dedicated graphics card is it worth the money then the standard (£1699) 15 inch?

Have pretty much ruled out the 13inch ones as they are only i5 dual core...

Will be used for Photoshop, 3D Cad design and video editing?

Any help would be great! Currently have a late 2008 Macbook and its getting pretty slow

Is it going out of the house? If yes, then yes. If no, then no.

Oh, and the 13" ones do come with i7's. It's an upgrade after you've selected the MacBook. £240 I think.
