Hello!

Just picked up my first Clio 182!
My first car was a 1.2 phase 2 in 2009.
Always lusted after a 172/182 and I am now the proud owner of one. Needs some love, I’m sure I’ll be asking for advice here and there! Couple of rubbish photos to begin with, must start a build thread!
Cheers
Dan

You've done the exact same as me. My first car after passing my test in 2010 was a black MK2 1.2 Clio.

Several cars later and I found myself in a black 182.

Welcome to the club!

Welcome to cs. Looks a good base to start with and sits nice.
What are your plans?
Give it a good tidy up, needs a clean inside and out, few bits and pieces to get through an MOT, then I’ll crack on with some service work! It will get wheels at some point and probably coilovers. Need to see what’s out and about and try not to go mental. Famous last words….

It looks to be lower than standard so probably on springs already.
Will you replace the leather/alcantara seats? If it were mine I’d be on the lookout for a cup spoiler.

It does appear to have spacers and definitely agree it’s already low! It had some advisories on spring corrosion previously, but haven’t inspected them yet! Cup spoiler perhaps, need to find one first that isn’t mental money! It’s got cloth seats, I’m not sure if I fancy a couple of bucket seats yet, might drive it first and find out ha!
And with spacers fitted as well, maybe. Sits spot on TBF
Thanks bud, it does look good! One of a few cars I’ve had where I’m actually happy how it sits!
