Hi, welcome to Cliosport.

You can pick up delivery mileage, pre registered cars at Renault main dealers for around £10k, sometimes cheaper. A real bargain.

can not pick up a clio cup sport 172 on pre registred miles or delivery miles i searched the whole of uk for a blue cupsport via the bloke at the renault dealer who got me the silver one and that was 9 months ago instead i bought a silver cup sport 172 which i am even more pleased of getting you can get a good cliocup 172 second hand but never brand new you wont regret buying a cups port 172 neither there wicked for the price good luck mate

*bump*

Thanks for the replies.... actually I have found a cup with 4 miles on the clock for a VERY good price sitting at the dealer....

Has anyone tuned them? How easy is it to make them quicker?

cheers tdw

As for tuning things are starting to take off now.

Throttle bodies, K Tec and BB Tuning both have turbo conversions almost here, and then theres the usual, chip, decat, induction, and strip it of all comforts.

Ive just done a used car search on renault.co.uk and they are showing loads of delivery mileage pre reg Cups in the UK dealer chain.

alright mate. I bought a cup last week pre reg with 17 miles on the clock for 10.4k, believe me when i say you will have fun in it mate, its great fun :D

thanks for the info guys, yep - just been on renualt too. plenty coming through!

anyone chipped theirs?

tbh I intend to keep it standard *if* i get one just to bed her in and find her limits. I love my Lupo but you cant really do much too them accept stick a turbo on

Quite a few on here have the Rsport ECU. Have a look at y0z2as car, one of the more extreme examples. LOL

He actually has no carpet in it now.

No real increase in bhp, but better power delivery through out the rev range and an increased rev limit.

just what i thought was missing - limiter seems to come on very easily hehe

great.... so any issues yet? keep reading about bits falling off and terrible build quality. Is the warranty 3 years?

Are the service intervals still 12,000 miles - seems high for this car

It comes in earlier when the engine oil isnt up to full temperature, that takes a good 15 minutes.

I had no serious problems with my 172. I covered 22500 miles in just over a year and it got quarter taken on the 1/4 mile a fair few times, as well as plenty of spirited driving. ;)

Warranty is 3 years, but you have to contribute to certain bits after the first 12 months.

Servicing is 12k. It sounds quite long but mine never needed a drop off oil and was still pretty clean when it was changed.
