Hello All,

I am Ryan, a new member here at cliosport.net :)

Unfortuantly i do not drive yet, however when i am 17 in 4 months time, i intend on getting myself a clio 172 of some description :D

See you around ;)

Ryan

Welcome mate.

Somehow I don't think your very clue'd up on cars very much. There is next to no chance of you being able to afford the insurance on a 2 litre sport at 17 years old. Also, even if you could afford it, I would strongly advise not to get one. Get a 1.2 like every other 17 year old and rag that about for a couple of years to give you driving experience and no claims bonus, then you can jump to a 172.

Also you do know you need to get a license, have lessons and sit a test? You can't just get a car and that's it.

Please ignore all of the above if you have plenty of money and actually knew everything I've told you, you just sound very naive the way you've posted.

I think even the most stupid 17 year olds know they need to get a license :rasp:

Welcome, but as said insurance will be a killer at 17 on a 172.

I am quite fortunate as my dad's business insurance will insure me on almost anything with no added cost to his premium :) but i may end up getting a 1.2 or something first :p
