Hi all.
I am currently looking around for a car and a Clio sport is on the list.
Having owned a couple of 309 GTI's and a 205 1.9 GTI before I am looking at getting back in to the hot hatch world.

Well after looking at a few regular 172's i have just put a deposit on a 03 silver 172 Cup with 48,000 miles on the clock.
Hope to get it this weekend but what with the wedding and bank holiday on Monday it may be Tuesday night before I can pick it up
Fingers crossed the insurance and bank are open tomorrow morning or Saturday morning!!

Hello and welcome to the forum.

I'm sure you will really enjoy the car. Only thing you may want to look out for is the leather/alacantra seats to replace the current ones, if you so desire.

Silver cups are quite rare too.

Don't bother with the 200 ton faux leather seats. Lightweight FTW.

Thanks for the welcome guys.
Its also got a/c so its super rare!
I want to keep the light weight theme so no seat swap! May be just a spare wheel just in case!
I will put up some pictures when I get the car.
