Sold my old car on Friday and mulled over the decision for my next car. Went out in a Type R and Clio 182.

Bought a 182 this morning

Pick her up on Saturday from the friendly Renault dealer

I am guilty of owning a few cars. Of the hot hatch variety Ive owned

Although a couple have been the wifes

R32, LCR, Leon Cupra, Cooper S, Fabia RS (with chip) Could do my own group test.

Had a few others in the past GTE 16V, VR6 and 306GTI 6. Never owned a Renault.

Swayed by EVO´s write up in the end. Once did a group test with some of them and was impressed. Couldnt shake Barker from my rear view mirror. I was in my STI and he was in a HRV If they rate it as probably the best ever Hot Hatch, I have to add it to my Resume

It was a close call between this and the Type R. Other things that went in it favour was the feeling of acceleration, the price and spec. Would of been happy with either.

Looking forward to picking up the car. Not driven one with Cup suspension. Was pretty happy with the std set up, but I know that come resale time it will have to have the Cup set up.
