New Oil Filter question?

does it matter how cheap an oil filter is?

they got rid of my local renault parts place so now have to order online. is there a certain one i should be using?

Genuine only. Not worth the risk if the cheap one doesn't perform as well.

You can pick them up from eBay for under a tenner for OE ones.

I just recently bought 3 from Adam@Renault Wolverhampton. Sure they were about £4 each.

For one plus delivery it's probably not much more, especially if you want it same day.

does this adam chap have a web site i can buy from?

so next question, i was going to buy elf oil from ebay, think ill need 6 L for an oil change (with a bit left over), its £29 for 5L. is that an ok price?

You only need 5L mate, not 6.

5.1L to be precise, but you'll never get all the old oil out.

I just used the 15% off at Opie Oils. 6L and an Oil filter for £27 posted. Cant complain

As above but tbh in the 40+ oil changes on 1*2's ive done they have always been 4.75 ish
